Job Details:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Permanent Quality Manager to join our Engineering team. This role is critical to maintaining and enhancing our company's reputation for excellent quality products. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supervising all quality assurance activities, ensuring that our products meet the highest industry standards and client expectations. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute significantly to our company's success.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and supervise the Quality Assurance team to ensure the highest quality standards are met in all products.
2. Develop, implement and maintain the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO standards.
3. Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to identify areas of improvement and ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards.
4. Utilize APQP, Fishbone, PFEMA, and other quality tools to analyze and resolve quality issues.
5. Oversee metal fabrication and welding processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
6. Utilize GD&T and Creo for product design and development.
7. Responsible for CMM programming to ensure accurate measurements and testing.
8. Collaborate with other departments such as production, design, and sales to ensure quality is integrated at all stages.
9. Handle customer complaints related to product quality and implement corrective actions.
10. Train and mentor team members on quality standards and procedures.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Management role within the Engineering industry.
3. Proficient in APQP, Fishbone, PFEMA, GD&T, Creo, and other quality tools.
4. Strong knowledge of metal fabrication, welding, and CMM programming.
5. Proven experience conducting quality audits and implementing ISO standards.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
7. Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
10. Proactive, with a strong desire to continuously improve product quality.
