A bit about us:
We are an established and reputable manufacturer of complex aircraft engine components and assemblies. We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all functions within the Quality Assurance department, developing and refining procedures with a strong emphasis on lean methodologies.
Take an active, hands-on role in all Quality Management System (QMS) activities at the site.
Lead, coach, and evaluate the quality team to maintain high performance; provide guidance and corrective feedback when necessary.
Supervise all aspects of metrology and measurement systems.
Ensure ongoing compliance with industry accreditations and regulatory standards.
Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key customers.
Oversee the non-conformance process, including reviewing issues, determining dispositions, performing root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions, and submitting required documentation to customers.
Interpret and analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation to meet project specifications.
Apply critical thinking and strong attention to detail to resolve quality issues effectively.
Act as the company’s representative during external quality audits and assessments by customers or third parties.
Support and promote continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required; engineering or technical disciplines preferred.
At least 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
Minimum 3 years managing quality operations, including direct interaction with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, with experience in AS9100 and NADCAP standards.
Advanced understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
Familiarity with Six Sigma principles and lean manufacturing techniques.
Ability to work with a high level of urgency and meet demanding production timelines.
Comfortable in a dynamic, smaller manufacturing environment where multitasking is key.
Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and driven to deliver results.
Strong analytical mindset, with a focus on systems, data, and process improvements.
Clear and professional communication abilities, both verbal and written.
Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Proficient with general computer applications and business systems.
