We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Quality Manager to join our team in the engineering industry. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of our products and services. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the quality assurance team, overseeing all quality-related functions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires a professional with a strong understanding of ASQ, Corrective Actions, Document Control, FMEA, 5S, and Root Cause Analysis.
Responsibilities
1. Develop, implement, and manage quality control systems designed to ensure continuous production of advanced composite materials and applications.
2. Design and implement quality training programs for key personnel in conjunction with managers.
3. Interact with customers to identify opportunities to improve quality and establish feedback with manufacturing and development personnel.
4. Oversee investigation of customer complaints regarding quality.
5. Generate and submit detailed reports on quality metrics, standards, and initiatives.
6. Lead the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
7. Drive corrective and preventive actions, ensuring that root cause analysis is conducted and corrective actions are implemented.
8. Maintain control over documents and records, ensuring they are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
9. Utilize ASQ, FMEA, 5S, and other methodologies to improve processes and reduce errors.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Manager role within the engineering industry.
3. Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Manager (CQM) preferred.
4. Proficient with ASQ, Corrective Actions, Document Control, FMEA, 5S, and Root Cause Analysis.
5. Demonstrated understanding of quality control concepts, industry practices, regulations, and policies.
6. Strong leadership and team management skills.
7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
8. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities, prioritize, and deliver on time.
10. Proficient in using various software applications to track and analyze data.
