Job Details
The Quality Manager will oversee the quality systems and product testing at our Salisbury, MD facility. This includes leading the Quality Lab team, ensuring compliance with IATF 16949 standards, and supporting plant operations and safety initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain certification of the IATF 16949 automotive quality system
Coordinate quality audits between the plant and corporate teams
Ensure all products meet customer and process requirements
Supervise Quality Lab staff and oversee testing procedures
Investigate customer complaints and lead corrective actions
Work with internal teams and customers on technical and quality matters
Use tools like Lean/Six Sigma, FMEA, and 5S to drive continuous improvement
Provide training on quality practices to site employees
Support safety and environmental compliance
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
5–7 years of quality management experience in manufacturing
5–7 years of supervisory/leadership experience
Experience with cross-functional teams and EHS procedures
Strong computer and problem-solving skills (SAP a plus)
