The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role and a proven track record in precision machining, leadership, management, OSHA regulations, and inspections. Responsibilities:
As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of our quality assurance program. Your duties will include:
1. Developing and maintaining the company's quality standards and procedures to ensure continuous production consistency.
2. Conducting regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
3. Leading a team of quality control inspectors, providing them with the necessary training and support.
4. Overseeing the precision machining process to ensure optimal product quality.
5. Managing the company's OSHA compliance, ensuring all safety and health standards are met.
6. Implementing corrective actions in response to any quality issues identified.
7. Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to improve overall product quality.
8. Regularly reporting on quality metrics to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
9. Staying updated on industry trends and regulations to ensure the company's quality standards remain current and competitive.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Manager role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience in precision machining, leadership, management, OSHA regulations, and inspections.
4. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on data and analysis.
6. In-depth knowledge of quality assurance standards and best practices.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. High level of attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.
9. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines.
10. Proficiency in using quality assurance software and related tools.
