Quality Specialist

We are seeking a passionate, detail-oriented, and experienced Quality and Compliance Specialist. The chosen candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products and services meet the established quality standards. This role requires a deep understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to making sure our products meet the exacting quality standards our customers have come to expect from us.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement quality control procedures and ensure they are in line with industry and company standards.
2. Monitor all operations that affect quality and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance.
3. Collaborate with an internal team of engineers and other professionals to ensure system consistency and alignment with quality standards.
4. Act as a key liaison with external auditors and manage audit processes.
5. Review current standards and policies, keeping up to date with relevant changes and industry developments.
6. Ensure all legal standards are met and communicate any non-compliance observed.
7. Prepare and present quality reports to the management team.
8. Train and guide staff on new systems, regulations, and quality control techniques.
9. Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
10. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support all work towards enhancing the effectiveness of the quality management system.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Quality, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience with ISO9001, ISO13485, IATF16949, and FDA Regulations.
4. Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and legal standards.
5. Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods.
6. Proficiency in MS Office and databases.
7. Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
8. Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing quality output.
9. Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.).
10. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude.
