The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out quality testing procedures, vendor sourcing, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards. Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Conducting regular quality testing procedures to ensure all products meet the required quality standards.
2. Collaborating with the production team to identify and correct any potential issues that may affect product quality.
3. Sourcing and managing relationships with vendors to ensure the supply of high-quality materials.
4. Ensuring all operations comply with ISO 9001 standards and other relevant quality management systems.
5. Documenting testing procedures and results, and reporting any inconsistencies or issues to the quality manager.
6. Participating in regular training and development opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest quality assurance practices and technologies.
7. Assisting with the implementation of new quality assurance strategies and initiatives.
8. Conducting audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards.
9. Collaborating with other departments to identify and implement quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality technician role within the manufacturing or marketing industry.
2. Proven experience with quality testing procedures and vendor sourcing.
3. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and other relevant quality management systems.
4. Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve quality-related issues.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
7. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
8. Proficiency in using standard office software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
9. A degree in quality management, engineering, or a related field would be advantageous.
