We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Contract Radiation Oncologist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, utilizing their expertise in oncology and radiation therapy planning. Responsibilities:

As a Contract Radiation Oncologist, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Diagnosing and treating patients with cancer using a variety of radiation therapy techniques.
2. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive and personalized treatment plans for patients.
3. Providing compassionate and empathetic care to patients and their families, ensuring they understand their diagnosis, treatment options, and prognosis.
4. Participating in tumor board meetings and contributing to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.
5. Staying updated on the latest research and advancements in radiation oncology, and integrating new knowledge into patient care.
6. Ensuring the safety and effectiveness of radiation treatments by meticulously planning and calculating doses.
7. Regularly monitoring and evaluating patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
8. Providing education and support to patients and their families, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
9. Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

1. Medical degree from an accredited institution.
2. Board certification in Radiation Oncology.
3. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
4. Demonstrated expertise in patient care, oncology, and radiation therapy planning.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with patients and their families.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
7. Proficiency in using medical software for radiation therapy planning and documentation.
8. Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
9. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
10. Strong commitment to patient safety and adherence to radiation safety principles.
