We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiation Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment where you will utilize your skills and experience to make a significant impact on the lives of our patients. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in radiation therapy.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide high-quality radiation therapy treatments to patients, ensuring accuracy, safety, and consistency in accordance with prescribed treatment plans.
2. Enter treatment parameters accurately and efficiently into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
3. Assist in maintaining patient appointment schedules, ensuring smooth workflow and minimizing patient waiting times.
4. Accurately complete simple monitor unit (MU) calculations to verify treatment parameters.
5. Prepare and submit correct billing information, ensuring accuracy and compliance with insurance and reimbursement processes.
6. Accurately fabricate custom molds and cut blocks when necessary, ensuring precise treatment delivery.
7. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
8. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, contributing to team meetings and discussions to enhance patient care.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in radiation therapy, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
2. Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
3. ARRT certified is required. Must hold valid state license for radiation therapy.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of radiation oncology, radiation therapy treatments, and related procedures.
5. Proficiency in using EMR systems and ability to accurately enter treatment parameters.
6. Experience in maintaining patient appointment schedules and handling billing information.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered approach to care.
8. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
