We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiological Tech CT/X-RAY to join our dynamic medical team. As a Permanent Radiological Tech, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring accurate and efficient diagnostic imaging services. This is a permanent position in the medical industry, offering stability and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using CT and X-ray equipment with precision and accuracy.
2. Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
3. Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper functioning and reporting any malfunctions or issues.
4. Evaluate images for quality and clarity, making adjustments as necessary to obtain optimal results.
5. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to determine the appropriate imaging techniques and protocols.
6. Maintain patient records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
7. Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and protocols to minimize risks to patients, staff, and self.
8. Assist in the training and supervision of new radiological technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
9. Stay updated with advancements in radiology technology and techniques, participating in continuing education and professional development activities.
10. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following infection control protocols and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

1. Current Radiologic Technologist License in the state of Wyoming: The ideal candidate must possess a valid and active Radiologic Technologist License in the state of Wyoming. This ensures compliance with state regulations and demonstrates the candidate's knowledge and competency in performing radiological procedures.

2. Current BLS Certification through AHA: The candidate must hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA). This certification ensures that the candidate is trained in life-saving techniques and can respond effectively in emergency situations.

3. Obtain registry within 90 days of hire: The candidate must have the ability to obtain registration with the appropriate professional organization within 90 days of hire. This demonstrates the candidate's commitment to professional growth and adherence to industry standards.

4. 3+ years of experience: The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Radiological Tech, with a focus on CT and X-ray procedures. This experience ensures that the candidate is proficient in operating imaging equipment, interpreting images, and providing high-quality patient care.

5. Strong technical skills: The candidate must have a thorough understanding of radiology equipment and techniques, including CT and X-ray imaging. They should be able to operate and troubleshoot equipment effectively to obtain accurate and reliable results.

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: The candidate must possess strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and other team members. They should be able to explain procedures to patients, address their concerns, and collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care.

7. Attention to detail and critical thinking: The candidate must have excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate positioning of patients, proper image acquisition, and meticulous record-keeping. They should also possess strong critical thinking skills to analyze images, identify abnormalities, and make appropriate recommendations.
