JOB SUMMARY:
o Performs radiographic procedures to assist in the diagnosis of disease and injury.
o Ensures patient needs in accordance with instructions and directions of staff physicians.
o Ensuring that the required statistical reports and documentation are accurately developed, tabulated, and submitted in a timely basis.
o Must be able to identify and categorize each patient’s age specific grouping of needs, such as those for infant, adolescent, and geriatric patients.
o Responsible for compliance with other requirements such as State/Federal regulations TJC, HRSA, DSHS standards and Compliance Standards.

EDUCATION:
o Graduate of an accredited school of Radiological Technology preferred.
o Registered Radiologic Technologist preferred (ARRT).
o Must be registered with the Texas Department of Health

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
o One year of experience in radiology preferred.
o Knowledge of performing and implementing radiology policies and procedures.
o Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
o Ability to communicate proficiently with individuals of diverse backgrounds and economic levels.
