We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Permanent Rates and Regulatory Manager to join our team. This is a hybrid position, meaning you'll enjoy the flexibility of splitting your time between working from home and our state-of-the-art office. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience, a strong understanding of costing analyses, and a background in Service Commission.

Responsibilities

As the Permanent Rates and Regulatory Manager, you will:

1. Oversee and manage the regulatory and rates departments, ensuring all operations align with company policies and industry regulations.
2. Conduct intricate costing analyses to determine the financial implications of various regulatory scenarios.
3. Liaise with the Service Commission and other regulatory bodies, representing the company's interests and ensuring compliance.
4. Develop and implement strategies for rate changes, taking into account the company's financial objectives and regulatory requirements.
5. Lead and mentor a team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
6. Stay informed about changes in industry regulations and rates, and adjust company strategies as needed.
7. Prepare and present reports to senior management, providing insights into the performance of the rates and regulatory departments.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Rates and Regulatory Manager position will have:

1. A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a related field.
2. Proven experience with costing analyses, ideally within a regulatory environment.
3. Prior experience working with the Service Commission or a similar regulatory body.
4. Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively represent the company's interests to external bodies.
6. A strong understanding of industry regulations and rates, and the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
7. A degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
8. The ability to adapt to changes in the regulatory landscape and adjust company strategies accordingly.
