Job Details


Responsibilities:


1. Drafting and reviewing real estate documents, including purchase agreements, lease agreements, and closing documents.
2. Conducting comprehensive due diligence for commercial and residential real estate transactions to identify potential risks and liabilities.
3. Advising clients on real estate matters, including property acquisition, disposition, leasing, financing, and development.
4. Providing legal advice on real estate regulatory compliance, including zoning laws, environmental regulations, and property tax laws.
5. Representing clients in negotiations and disputes related to real estate transactions.
6. Collaborating with other team members to ensure that client needs are met and that all real estate transactions are conducted in a timely and efficient manner.
7. Staying updated on current trends and developments in real estate law to provide the most effective advice and representation to clients.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Real Estate Associate position should possess the following qualifications:

1. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate law with a focus on commercial and residential real estate transactions.
3. Strong knowledge of real estate due diligence process.
4. Excellent legal research and writing skills.
5. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to clients.
6. A high degree of professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
7. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Must be licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction where the firm is located.
9. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
10. Proficiency in using legal research software and other relevant computer applications.
