We are searching for a dynamic and experienced Real Estate Attorney to join our firm. This role is designed for a seasoned professional who can provide expert legal counsel to our clients in all matters of real estate law. The Attorney will play a crucial role in our firm, working directly with one of our best clients, managing complex real estate transactions, and contributing to the growth and success of our organization.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide expert legal advice and representation to a client on a wide range of real estate matters, including purchases, sales, leasing, financing, and development.
2. Draft, review, and negotiate complex real estate contracts and agreements.
3. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to advise clients on potential legal risks and solutions.
4. Closing financings and refinancing's
5. Coordinate with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff within the firm to ensure efficient and effective client service.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and market trends affecting real estate transactions.
7. Develop and maintain strong client relationships through excellent customer service and communication.
8. Contribute to the firm's growth and reputation through business development activities.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Membership in good standing with the NY state bar.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a real estate attorney, preferably within a law firm setting.
4. Proven experience in handling complex real estate transactions.
5. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to interpret and draft complex legal documents.
6. Strong analytical skills and the ability to provide practical legal advice to clients.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
8. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and work well under pressure.
9. Demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion.
10. Strong business development skills, with a track record of attracting and retaining clients.
