We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This role offers an opportunity to work on a broad range of real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of real estate law and should be capable of managing complex transactions from start to finish. This position requires excellent negotiation skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Draft and negotiate a variety of real estate transaction documents, including purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, financing documents, and joint development agreements.
2. Review and analyze title commitments, surveys, and other due diligence materials to identify potential risks and devise strategies to mitigate them.
3. Provide legal advice on a wide range of real estate matters such as land use, zoning, property management, and environmental compliance.
4. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure all legal and contractual matters are addressed efficiently and effectively.
5. Stay abreast of changes in real estate law and regulations to ensure the company's compliance.
6. Assist in the resolution of legal disputes involving real estate transactions.
7. Support the company's strategic initiatives by providing expert legal advice on potential real estate investments and developments.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Real Estate Attorney.
3. Licensed to practice law in the state.
4. Proven experience in drafting and negotiating complex real estate agreements.
5. Proficient in reviewing and understanding title commitments and surveys.
6. Strong knowledge of real estate law and regulations.
7. Exceptional negotiation skills with a track record of successful deal-making.
8. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
9. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal personnel.
10. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
11. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
