Real Estate Attorney

We are seeking a seasoned Permanent Real Estate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This exciting role involves providing strategic legal counsel on a wide range of real estate matters, including property acquisitions and disposals, leasing matters, property development, and real estate financing. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing all real estate legal activities, ensuring that our business is in compliance with all current real estate laws and regulations. This position requires a professional with a deep understanding of real estate law and a track record of delivering exceptional results.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide expert legal counsel on a broad range of real estate matters such as acquisitions, disposals, leasing, financing, and property development.
2. Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial real estate agreements, including purchase agreements, lease agreements, and development agreements.
3. Conduct due diligence for real estate transactions, including reviewing title commitments, surveys, and environmental reports.
4. Advise on real estate aspects of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate legal risks associated with real estate transactions.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the California Bar.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Real Estate Attorney, preferably in a corporate environment.
4. Proven experience in handling complex real estate transactions.
5. Extensive knowledge of real estate law, including lease agreements, property acquisitions, and disposals.
