Responsibilities
  • Draft loan documents and negotiate related ancillary agreements in connection with medium to large lender-side mortgage financing transactions
  • Review and analyze title commitments, surveys, leases, zoning reports, and other diligence materials to identify and resolve lender concerns
  • Lead weekly transaction status calls, manage junior attorneys and paralegals, and communicate clearly with clients and opposing counsel
  • Support transactions involving construction loans, secondary market loan sales, warehouse loan collateralization, mezzanine loans, and preferred equity structures
  • Oversee and coordinate deal execution from initial structuring through closing

Job Details

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 4–5 years of experience in real estate finance transactions
  • Admission to the New York bar and good standing
  • Strong academic credentials from a top-tier law school
  • Demonstrated ability to manage teams and coordinate complex transactions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
