Responsibilities:
As a Senior Real Estate Lending Finance Attorney, you will:
1. Manage and oversee all aspects of real estate lending transactions, including reviewing, drafting, and negotiating loan agreements, leases, purchase and sale agreements, and other related documents.
2. Provide expert legal advice on complex real estate finance matters to a diverse range of clients, including major financial institutions, real estate developers, and private equity firms.
3. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in real estate law, lending regulations, and market trends, and use this knowledge to advise clients and guide transaction strategy.
4. Collaborate closely with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the successful completion of transactions.
5. Conduct thorough due diligence investigations and legal research.
6. Represent the firm and clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations as necessary.
7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional client service and ensuring client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Real Estate Lending Finance Attorney role will possess:
1. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar.
3. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in real estate finance law, preferably within a large law firm setting.
4. Extensive experience in lending, financing, negotiating, and drafting agreements.
5. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to a non-legal audience.
7. Strong negotiation skills, with a proven track record of successful deal-making.
8. The ability to work effectively under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
9. A client-focused approach, with a commitment to providing exceptional client service.
