We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Real Estate Legal/Executive Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive support to our legal team, ensuring the smooth running of our office and effective case management. You will be responsible for drafting closing documents, managing client relationships, and conducting research to support legal proceedings. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to further their career in the legal industry, working alongside a team of experienced attorneys in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist with the preparation and drafting of closing documents, contracts, and other legal documents related to real estate transactions.
2. Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles to assist attorneys in the preparation of cases.
3. Manage client relationships, maintaining regular communication and updating them on case progress.
4. Organize and maintain documents in a paper or electronic filing system.
5. Manage attorney calendars, plan meetings, and coordinate schedules.
6. Attend legal proceedings and meetings, taking notes and summarizing case details.
7. Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail, email, and faxes.
8. Perform administrative duties, such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and maintaining office supplies.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or in a similar role in a law firm or legal department.
2. Proven experience in drafting closing documents related to real estate transactions.
3. Strong knowledge of real estate law, legal procedures, and protocols.
4. Proficient in MS Office Suite and legal research software.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
6. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
7. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
8. A degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field is preferred.
9. Paralegal certification or equivalent is a plus.
