Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review legal documents related to real estate transactions, including purchase agreements, leases, and deeds.
  • Conduct title searches, review title reports, and coordinate with title companies to resolve any issues.
  • Assist with the drafting and amending of association governing documents.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to legal ethics in all dealings.
  • Conduct legal research and provide legal support to attorneys.
  • Manage projects, coordinate with various stakeholders, and oversee the escrow process.
  • Review real estate contracts and provide insightful analysis.
  • Stay updated with current real estate market trends, laws, and regulations.
  • Use legal terminology and legal case management software effectively.
  • Resolve conflicts and ensure smooth closing processes.
  • Perform administrative duties, including data entry and customer service.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Real Estate Paralegal.
  • Proficient in real estate law, legal document preparation, legal research, and closing processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
  • Experience in conducting title searches and handling real estate contracts.
  • Familiarity with HOA law, condo law, community association, and Texas federal and statutes for HOA.
  • Knowledge of real estate development, real estate planning, and real estate financing.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal ethics.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and administrative skills.
  • Strong knowledge of property law, real estate laws, and regulations.
  • Experience in drafting and amending association governing documents is a plus.
