Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract highly qualified candidates.
2. Manage the entire recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring candidates.
3. Create and post job descriptions on relevant job boards, careers pages, and social networks.
4. Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates and develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.
5. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand each position’s requirements and applicants’ job goals.
6. Conduct interviews via phone, video, and in-person meetings to assess applicants' knowledge, skills, and experience.
7. Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and team members.
8. Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires and provide them with a positive experience.
9. Stay current with the latest industry trends and use that knowledge to attract and recruit top talent.
10. Provide regular updates to hiring managers on the status of open positions and candidate pipelines.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruiting, preferably within the Manufacturing sector in the Technology industry.
3. Proven experience in sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding top talent.
4. Proficient in using HR software and databases, as well as social media for recruiting.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen eye for detail.
6. Strong decision-making skills and ability to manage time effectively.
7. Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
8. Exceptional interviewing, negotiation, and networking skills.
9. Knowledge of labor legislation and employment equity regulations.
10. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
