Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Analyze customer RFQs and specifications for feasibility
- Provide thermal calculations, coil sizing, and performance estimates
- Support mechanical layout in collaboration with drafting team
- Recommend optimal fin/tube geometries and refrigerant paths
- Assist with technical documentation for quoting or customer review
- Participate in virtual project reviews as needed
Qualifications
- Mechanical or HVAC Engineer with 5+ years in refrigeration design
- Strong understanding of vapor compression systems and heat exchangers
- Experience with modeling tools (CoolPack, REFPROP, EES, or similar)
- Familiarity with AHRI and ASHRAE standards
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar for layout review
- Past experience with OEMs (e.g., Modine, Lennox, Heatcraft, etc.) a plus
- Able to work independently and manage deadlines
