- Own the full month-end close for four sites, ensuring accuracy in cost, spend, and plant-related balance sheet accounts in line with GAAP and industry best practices.
- Drive financial insights and forecasting through robust budgeting, monthly projections, and variance analysis — connecting financial performance to key operational drivers.
- Deliver powerful KPI reporting and variance analysis (daily, weekly, monthly) to help plant leaders identify risks, root causes, and corrective actions.
- Be a change agent: identify opportunities for productivity, efficiency, and cost optimization with data-backed insights and strategic recommendations.
- Oversee inventory accuracy and valuation, including aged inventory, reserves, and reconciliations.
- Partner with engineering to build ROI models and evaluate capital investments that fuel plant growth and innovation.
- Support new product costing, aligning with operational goals and profitability expectations.
- Lead with integrity: reinforce strong internal controls, ensure compliance, and respond to audit requests with confidence.
- Jump in on ad-hoc financial projects and strategic initiatives that shape the future of the business.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or CPA a big plus)
- 8+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience in manufacturing, including cost accounting
- Deep understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial processes in a plant environment
- Experience with standard costing, capital project tracking, and inventory management
- Expert-level Excel skills and financial modeling expertise
- ERP and financial reporting systems mastery
- Strong communicator who builds trust and collaboration across departments
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, metrics-driven culture — you thrive on deadlines and solving urgent challenges
- Willingness to travel ~5% as needed
