Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional IT Manager to join our team. This role will oversee all IT aspects of our site operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT systems and operations, with a proven track record in managing large scale projects. The individual will be responsible for managing the IT infrastructure of the site, including network and application management, end-user support, server management, and project management of upgrades and migrations at the site and others in the area. The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, and this is an onsite position in our Louisville, KY office.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all IT operations at the site, ensuring systems are operational, secure, and up-to-date.
2. Manage and maintain the site's network infrastructure, including Cisco hardware and SonicWall firewalls.
3. Oversee application management, ensuring all software is correctly installed, updated, and functioning properly.
4. Provide end-user support, troubleshooting and resolving any IT related issues quickly and efficiently.
5. Lead IT projects, coordinating with other departments to ensure successful delivery.
6. Manage structured cabling for the site, ensuring all cabling is correctly installed and maintained.
7. Develop and implement IT policies and best practices.
8. Monitor and manage IT system performance, implementing improvements as necessary.
9. Liaise with vendors and suppliers, managing relationships and ensuring quality of service.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
2. 3+ years of experience in systems and network administration
3. Proven experience managing large scale IT projects.
4. Experience with Windows Servers, VMware, Cisco hardware, and Meraki firewalls.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
9. Knowledge of IT best practices and an understanding of IT security protocols.
10. Certification in ITIL, PMP, or similar would be an advantage.
