Are you an experienced sales leader in the aggregates and asphalt industry? Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We are currently seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a Regional Sales Manager. This position offers a unique opportunity to spearhead sales initiatives in the aggregates and asphalt sector, helping to drive growth and profitability for our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing sales strategies, driving business development, and leading a high-performing sales team to achieve sales targets.

Responsibilities:
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be tasked with the following responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored to the aggregates and asphalt industry to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.

2. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, understanding their needs and requirements to promote our company’s products effectively.

3. Lead and motivate a high-performing sales team, fostering a success-oriented, accountable environment.

4. Analyze regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth.

5. Address potential problems and suggest prompt solutions.

6. Participate in decisions for expansion or acquisition.

7. Report on regional sales results and forecast future sales.

8. Prepare and review the annual budget for the area of responsibility.

9. Liaise with the marketing and production departments to ensure brand consistency and increase sales.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications:

1. Proven work experience of 5+ years in a sales manager role, preferably in the aggregates and asphalt industry.

2. Demonstrable experience managing a high-performance sales team.

3. Solid understanding of the aggregates and asphalt market, including customers, product, competitors, and routes to market.

4. Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.

5. Strong business sense and industry expertise in construction materials.

6. Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.

7. Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.

8. Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services and position them against competitors.

9. Strong understanding of sales performance metrics.

10. Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.

11. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

12. Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a relevant field; MBA preferred.
