We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Permanent Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team in the Medical industry. This role will require a strong commitment to providing superior patient care and maintaining an atmosphere of professionalism and excellence. If you are an individual who is passionate about oral health and possesses a strong desire to promote dental wellness, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Registered Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for:
1. Providing preventative dental care to patients and educating them on oral health.
2. Conducting initial patient screenings, including assessment of oral health conditions, review of patient's health history, oral cancer screening, and taking blood pressure and pulse.
3. Taking dental radiographs (X-rays) and interpreting them.
4. Removing calculus and plaque from all surfaces of the teeth.
5. Applying preventive materials to the teeth (e.g., sealants and fluorides).
6. Assisting dentists in managing dental and medical emergencies.
7. Documenting patient care and treatment plans using dental software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
8. Adhering strictly to compliance with federal, state, and local clinical laws and regulations, including infection control and OSHA guidelines.
9. Promoting oral health by providing patient education on proper brushing and flossing techniques and postoperative care.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
1. Graduated from an accredited dental hygiene program.
2. Current state registration and certification as a Registered Dental Hygienist.
3. New Grads Welcome!
4. Current CPR Certification.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and team members.
6. Proficiency in dental software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
7. Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and materials.
8. Familiarity with infection control and OSHA guidelines.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure that our patients receive the highest quality care.
10. Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional growth.
