This is a full-time position with 5 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in oncology, outpatient care management, case management, patient liaison, patient education, critical care, or related fields.

Responsibilities:

The Outpatient Clinical Nurse will be responsible for the following:

• Providing direct patient care to patients in an outpatient setting
• Coordinating patient care with other healthcare professionals
• Conducting patient assessments and developing individualized care plans
• Providing patient education on disease management, treatment options, and side effect management
• Acting as a patient liaison and advocate
• Managing patient symptoms and side effects of treatment
• Documenting patient care and progress in medical records
• Communicating with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in good standing
• Previous experience in oncology, outpatient care, care management, case management, and patient education are preferred but not required.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of oncology treatments and side effects preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency in electronic medical records and other healthcare technology
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred but not required
