Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated Permanent Registered Nurse Transplant Coordinator to join our dynamic team in the Medical industry. As a Transplant Coordinator RN, you will be responsible for the coordination of cellular therapy allogenic transplant programs. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the successful transplantation of organs and tissues.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all aspects of the transplant process from evaluation to follow-up care
- Act as a liaison between the transplant team and the patient, ensuring that patients and their families are well-informed and comfortable with the process
- Educate patients and their families on the transplant process, including pre- and post-transplant care, medication management, and potential risks and complications
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Assess and monitor patients' physical and emotional well-being throughout the transplant process
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects to improve transplant outcomes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in transplant coordination, preferably in cellular therapy allogenic transplant programs
- Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplant (NMDP) Coordinator Training
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices related to transplant coordination
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
