Responsibilities Include:
- Assessing and monitoring patients' conditions and vital signs
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educating patients and their families about their conditions and treatments
- Documenting patient care and progress in electronic medical records
- Responding to emergencies and providing immediate care as needed
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Acute Care Nurse or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- BLS and ACLS certifications required, PALS and/or NRP preferred
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
