Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Registered Nurse - Inpatient to join our team in the Medical industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Emergency Room, Emergency Department, Med Surg, Cardiac, Stepdown, Medical Surgical, Cath Lab, Postpartum, Labor and Delivery, Operating Room, or Endoscopy. This is a full-time position that offers competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced inpatient setting
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and new technologies
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during difficult times
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Emergency Room, Emergency Department, Med Surg, Cardiac, Stepdown, Medical Surgical, Cath Lab, Postpartum, Labor and Delivery, Operating Room, or Endoscopy
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (dependent pnon unit)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional patient care
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
