Registered Nurse - Med Surg

Our client is a top ranking healthcare organization serving North Carolina. They provide comprehensive and specialized healthcare services through various facilities, including an acute care hospital, wellness centers, skilled nursing facilities for rehabilitation and long-term care, urgent care centers, wound healing centers, emergency care services, and dedicated centers for cancer, heart and vascular conditions, women's care, surgical services, orthopedics, neurology, pain management, and sleep disorders.

They are looking for Med/Surg RN's to join their team. Day and night shifts are available.

An ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience (in any nursing specialty, training will be provided) and an unencumbered RN license in North Carolina.

The Registered Nurse will join our client's intermediate acute care unit that focuses on pulmonary and nephrology intermediate care or post-operative thoracic patients and patients transitioning from neuroscience care.

Shifts:

• Day and night shift available (Day: 7a-7p or Night: 7p-7a)
• 3x12s

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med Surg and Step Down units
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and post-discharge care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations

Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license in North Carolina
• 1+ years of experience in any nursing specialty
• Active BLS
