The RN Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of nursing staff in the critical care, emergency room, and acute care departments. Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, direction, and supervision to nursing staff to ensure safe, efficient, and therapeutic patient care.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to devise individualized care plans for patients.
- Monitor and evaluate patient care processes and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, including patient safety and privacy.
- Facilitate ongoing training and professional development for nursing staff.
- Assist in the recruitment, selection, and retention of nursing personnel.
- Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services.
- Respond to any issues or emergencies that arise, acting as the point of contact for critical care, emergency room, and acute care departments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure the highest quality of care is provided to patients.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license in good standing.
- Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience, in the ER or Critical Care.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience is strongly preferred.
- Exceptional clinical skills with an understanding of patient care regulations and standards.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with medical advancements.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
