Job Details
- Overseeing day-to-day operations of a long-term care unit to ensure efficient and effective patient services
- Leading and supporting unit staff to maintain high standards of care
- Conducting patient assessments and developing tailored care plans
- Coordinating with medical professionals to ensure consistent care delivery
- Managing IV infusions and other clinical procedures as needed
- Documenting care activities accurately in electronic health record systems such as Cerner
- Training team members on medical terminology, DME, and memory care best practices
Skills You Need
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a nursing home setting
- Strong knowledge of patient assessment, medical terminology, and clinical procedures
- Familiarity with IV infusion, family planning services, and memory care practices
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
