Job Details
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pediatric Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional nursing care across multiple units/locations, responding to the diverse needs of our patient population. This is a Full Time position that will float between units.
Days, Mids, and Nights Available!
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop strategic care plans, implement evidence-based practices, and evaluate patient outcomes within the designated scope of practice, emphasizing a family-centered care approach.
2. Demonstrate proficiency in addressing the physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety requirements of patients, irrespective of age or developmental status.
3. Execute leadership and professional responsibilities with a commitment to fostering a collaborative team environment.
4. Deliver patient-centered care, ensuring a high standard of quality and safety.
5. Actively engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to maintaining a safe healthcare environment.
6. Facilitate the development of educational programs for clinical staff, serving as a mentor and preceptor for new team members.
7. Apply evidence-based practices to enhance patient care and stay abreast of the latest advancements in the field.
8. Support provider staff, promoting teamwork, efficiency, and legendary customer service for pediatric patients through a collaborative approach.
9. Engage in systems-based practice, contributing to the seamless operation of healthcare processes.
10. Leverage informatics and technology skills to enhance patient care and workflow efficiency.
11. Flexibility to be temporarily assigned to various areas within our healthcare enterprise based on patient needs requiring similar expertise.
Must Have:
1. Demonstrated ability to provide leadership, guidance, and motivation within a collaborative team environment.
2. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
3. Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
4. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
5. Experience working with various organizational levels.
6. Pediatrics experience
7. Experience with electronic medical record systems (e.g., EPIC) or similar software preferred.
Education and Experience:
1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required, or must be obtained within 5 years from the date of hire.
2. Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association required. Additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, and PALS must be obtained within one (1) year of hire.
3. Active licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Ohio required.
4. Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience (Pediatrics of any level)
