We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing the highest quality patient care and a commitment to excellence. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, administering medication, wound care, immunizations, and other medical procedures. The ability to work in a MedSurg RN capacity is essential.
Responsibilities:
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for a wide range of critical functions, including but not limited to:
1. Conducting comprehensive patient assessments, developing individual care plans, and implementing treatment strategies.
2. Administering medication and performing routine immunizations, ensuring the utmost care and accuracy.
3. Providing specialized wound care, including dressing changes and monitoring for signs of infection or complications.
4. Delivering direct patient care in a MedSurg RN capacity, including monitoring vital signs, responding to changes in patient condition, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals.
5. Educating patients and their families on disease processes, medical-surgical procedures, and other aspects of therapeutic regimens, including self-care and follow-up care.
6. Documenting patient health information accurately and comprehensively.
7. Participating in continuous quality improvement initiatives and clinical research.
8. Adhering to all safety and infection control standards, demonstrating a commitment to patient safety.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess the following qualifications:
1. Current and valid RN license in the state of practice.
2. Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in a hospital or medical practice setting.
3. Experience in wound care, immunizations, and administering medication.
4. Proven experience as a MedSurg RN.
5. Exceptional patient care skills and a deep understanding of the nursing process.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
7. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to handle a high-stress environment and make decisions under pressure.
9. Commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.
10. BLS certification required, ACLS certification preferred.
