Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Deliver exceptional patient care in compliance with nursing policies, procedures, and standards.
2. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans regularly.
3. Act as a case manager, coordinating all aspects of patient care, from admission to discharge.
4. Provide supervision, guidance, and mentoring to junior nursing staff to ensure the highest standards of care.
5. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
6. Document patient information accurately and timely in the electronic medical record system.
7. Participate in patient and family teaching, providing information about medical conditions, health promotion, and prevention.
8. Respond to emergencies swiftly and competently, demonstrating critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
9. Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
10. Participate in continuous professional development activities to stay updated with the latest nursing practices and medical advancements.
Qualifications:
1. Current and valid RN license.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
3. Previous experience as a Case Manager or RN Supervisor is highly desirable.
4. Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.
5. In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination, etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times.
6. Proficient in nursing software and medical record systems.
7. A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills.
9. Excellent physical endurance to cope with the demands of the job.
10. BLS/ACLS certification preferred.
