Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Manage audit engagement planning, including establishing timelines, delegating responsibilities, and coordinating team activities.
  • Oversee and execute all phases of audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, completion, and financial statement preparation.
  • Review and prepare thorough, well-documented workpapers that clearly address audit findings and relevant issues.
  • Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior staff while supporting their professional development.
  • Monitor engagement progress, communicate updates, and identify opportunities to improve audit efficiency through technology and enhanced testing approaches.
  • Assist with audit reporting and ensure engagements are completed accurately, efficiently, and within established deadlines and budgets.
  • Contribute to business development through client relationship management, networking, and identifying new business opportunities.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Active CPA license or progress toward CPA licensure.
  • 3+ years of audit experience at a small or regional public accounting firm
  • Diverse commercial client industry experience (for example: construction, real estate, automotive, healthcare, manufacturing, etc.)
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to teamwork.
  • Client-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering quality service.
