Are you a financial whiz with a passion for logistics and supply chain? We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated FP&A Analyst - 3PL to join our team on a permanent, remote basis. In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial planning and analysis for our third-party logistics (3PL) operations. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a keen eye for detail, and are proficient in data mining and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities:

As an FP&A Analyst - 3PL, your duties will include but are not limited to:

1. Conducting complex financial analysis to determine present and future performance.
2. Developing, maintaining, and distributing ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed.
3. Preparing profit and loss models, balance sheets, and other management reports, using Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains and other financial systems.
4. Creating, maintaining, and improving financial reports that track key business metrics.
5. Providing recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis and projections.
6. Collaborating with supply chain and operations teams in managing 3PL relationships and improving cost efficiencies.
7. Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
8. Ensuring compliance with financial guidelines and company policies.
9. Performing data mining and analysis to aid in business decision making.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the FP&A Analyst - 3PL role, you must have:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, or a similar role.
2. Proven experience with data mining and advanced Excel, including complex formulas and Excel modeling.
3. Solid understanding of accounting principles, general ledger functions, and financial statements.
4. Experience with third-party logistics (3PL), distribution centers, and supply chain operations.
5. Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains.
6. Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial data and complex information in an understandable way.
8. High attention to detail and accuracy.
9. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
