Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Write, production ready code that is clean and thoroughly tested
  • Serve in an on-call rotation (DevOps)
  • Write secure code by knowing how APIs are secured, sessions are handled, and data is validated
  • Work in an agile environment
  • Build reliable observability; monitor and log alerts
  • Conduct code reviews

Qualifications:
  • BSCS degree or similar
  • 5+ years of SaaS application experience
  • Strong experience with Ruby on Rails
  • Experience with React
  • Knowledge of Git source control
  • Prior experience with AWS (RDS, EC2, RDS, Security Groups, CloudWatch, Ops tools, etc.)
  • Familiarity working in an Agile environment
  • Experience with code coverage and unit testing frameworks
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs, secure sessions, identity and access management providers (OAuth, SAML, etc.)
  • SQL, database queries, optimization experience (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
  • Knowledge of caching and queueing systems (Redis, Memcache, SQS, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, etc.)
