Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
1. 5+ years of advisory experience in a CPA firm supporting multiple clients/entities
2. Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online (REQUIRED). Xero, Yardi, or other accounting platforms an added plus!
3. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
4. CPA or working toward license
- Manage full-cycle outsourced accounting services, including financial statements, general ledger reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and cash flow management
- Oversee payroll and sales tax filings, ensuring compliance and accuracy
- Research and resolve complex payroll and sales tax issues, including managing sales and payroll tax notices
- Act as a strategic advisor, providing data-driven insights and financial guidance to help clients make informed business decisions
- Meet with clients quarterly (or as needed) to analyze financial statements, discuss business performance, and recommend strategies for growth
- Lead client onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition to our accounting systems and reporting frameworks
- Develop deep client relationships
- Leverage technology (QuickBooks Online, Xero, Yardi, and other platforms) to streamline workflows and automate routine tasks
