Job Description:
The Trust & Estate Litigation Attorney will be responsible for handling a wide range of disputes involving trusts, estates, conservatorships, and fiduciary duties. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully litigating in these areas and be capable of managing cases from inception through trial. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for advocating on behalf of clients during some of the most challenging periods of their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all phases of trust and estate litigation, including discovery, depositions, mediation, and trial.
Develop litigation strategies and represent clients in court with professionalism and tenacity.
Advise clients on risk assessment and mitigation strategies related to potential litigation.
Draft pleadings, briefs, motions, and other legal documents with precision and clarity.
Work closely with estate planning and administration attorneys to identify and resolve potential legal issues before they escalate into litigation.
Stay abreast of developments in trust and estate law to provide clients with informed and strategic advice.
Participate in business development activities to grow the firm’s client base and enhance its reputation in the legal community.
Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
A minimum of 4 years of experience in trust and estate litigation.
Licensed to practice law and in good standing with the [State] Bar.
Strong litigation experience, including trial experience.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to handle complex cases with empathy and integrity.
