Job Details

This role leads the reporting product line for software used by automotive dealerships and dealer groups, from vision and roadmap through the phased launch of a new reporting experience and the move of legacy reports onto it. You will work closely with engineering, data platform and design partners and serve as the product voice of reporting to dealers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set the vision and roadmap for the full reporting product line and present that roadmap to the executive team
  • Run the phased rollout of a new reporting experience from early access to general availability, covering cohort selection, quality gates for each phase, launch sequencing and a reporting roadmap shared with customers
  • Build the migration strategy for roughly ten thousand legacy ad hoc and bespoke reports, including programmatic conversion, self-service migration tooling for dealers and a plan for bespoke enterprise reports
  • Manage the analytics experience dealers use, including dashboards, drill-down, scheduled delivery, date range and attribution controls and a self-serve report builder, and decide what belongs in base versus premium packages
  • Work with data platform and engineering teams on the dimensional model, ETL cadence, freshness SLAs and report permissioning, and set the bar for data that is correct and current
  • Define and sequence an AI-native reporting vision covering natural language exploration, agent-generated insight and anomaly detection
  • Shape the visual language of reporting with design, including a chart library and visualization defaults for mobile density, empty and loading states and exports
  • Represent reporting to dealership GMs, BDC managers, controllers, dealer group executives and internal CSM and support teams, including dealership visits and a customer advisory group
  • Produce specs for engineering, launch notes for product marketing and updates for executives

Needed:
  • 3+ years of product management experience, or a comparable path from analytics, data, implementation or dealership operations with shipped outcomes
  • Experience shipping AI-powered product features
  • Daily use of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor in product management work, such as research synthesis, spec writing and prototyping
  • Product management experience with reporting, dashboards, BI or analytics products
  • Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or something similar
  • Proven experience moving customers off a legacy product onto a new one
  • Ability to work in SQL and read database schemas
  • Automotive retail experience at a dealership, a dealer group, or a vendor serving dealerships is highly preferred
