We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Residential Real Estate Attorney to join our dynamic team. This position requires a professional who is confident, detail-oriented, and can work independently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate law and will be responsible for handling all legal matters related to residential real estate transactions. This includes preparing and reviewing legal documents, providing legal advice to real estate agents and their clients, leading educational classes, reviewing land records and assisting in resolving any title claims.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and review deeds, contracts, powers of attorney, trust documents, title abstract reports, and any other legal documents relevant to settlements.

2. Provide legal advice to real estate agents and their clients, while representing our Title company.

3. Lead and teach educational classes relevant to real estate to enhance the knowledge and skills of our team and clients.

4. Review land records and chain-of-title to ensure clear title and resolve any discrepancies.

5. Assist in resolving any title claims and other legal disputes related to real estate transactions.

6. Handle all aspects of residential real estate transactions from start to finish, including negotiation, drafting, and execution of contracts and deeds.

7. Stay updated with the latest legal developments and trends in the real estate industry.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.

2. Admission to the Massachusetts Bar.

3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential real estate law, with a focus on title and real estate settlement.

4. Proven experience in preparing and reviewing legal documents related to real estate transactions.

5. Strong knowledge of land records and chain-of-title.

6. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

7. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

8. Proficiency in legal research and ability to provide sound legal advice.

9. Experience in teaching or leading educational classes is a plus.

10. High level of integrity and professional accountability.
