We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Real Estate Closer to join our well-established legal team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to provide high-level administrative support within our fast-paced, real estate legal department. The successful individual will be integral to our team, assisting attorneys with a variety of real estate legal matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing.

Responsibilities:
  • Independently manage residential real estate closing transactions
  • Assist with the preparation and revision of real estate legal documents, including contracts, agreements, deeds, and closing documents.
  • Conduct thorough legal research on various real estate matters and prepare reports for attorneys.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for all real estate legal documents and ensure all files are up to date.
  • Facilitate communication between our attorneys and clients, ensuring all inquiries are promptly addressed.
  • Coordinate with other legal professionals, including paralegals, to prepare for trials, hearings, and meetings.
  • Assist with the preparation of billing statements and ensure all invoices are promptly paid.
  • Keep abreast of changes in real estate law and inform attorneys of any significant changes that may affect their cases.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Residential Real Estate Closer, preferably within a real estate department.
  • Proficient in using legal software, including case management systems and legal research tools.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate law and the legal procedures involved in real estate transactions.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies in legal documents.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with attorneys, clients, and other legal professionals.
