Our practice is seeking a Retina Specialist.
The selected candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, managing, and treating conditions and diseases that affect the retina. This role is perfectly suited for both experienced physicians and recent graduates who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and advancing their expertise in the field of retina specialization.
Responsibilities:
1. Diagnosing and managing diseases and conditions of the retina, macula, and vitreous.
2. Performing specialized surgical procedures to treat conditions such as retinal detachment, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.
3. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans for patients.
4. Providing patient education on disease management, prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
5. Participating in clinical research and contributing to the advancement of retina specialty through publications and presentations.
6. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the latest advancements, technologies, and treatments in retina care.
7. Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards while maintaining the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Qualifications:
1. Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
2. Board eligible or board certified in ophthalmology.
3. Fellowship training in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery is highly recommended.
