Job Details

Responsibilities:
1. Manage all aspects of day-to-day accounting operations, including revenue recognition, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
2. Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
3. Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with established controls and procedures.
4. Assist with the year-end close process, including preparing audit schedules, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements.
5. Maintain and update accounting records and files.
6. Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
7. Utilize Sage Intacct accounting software to streamline and automate financial management processes.
8. Implement and monitor internal financial controls, ensuring that all activities are in accordance with established legal regulatory and company policies and procedures.
9. Participate in budgeting processes.
10. Collaborate with team members to improve financial procedures and ensure financial integrity.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification will be an added advantage.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related field, preferably in the construction industry.
3. Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting.
4. Proven experience with year-end close processes.
5. Proficient in using Sage Intacct or similar accounting software.
6. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask and manage priorities.
11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
