Job Details
We are seeking an experience Sr. Revenue Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in revenue recognition, with a firm understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing the revenue recognition process (ASC 606) in accordance with company policies
2. Performing monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
3. Analyzing and reviewing contracts, orders, and sales transactions to ensure proper revenue recognition
4. Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and schedules
5. Collaborating with the sales and finance teams to resolve revenue recognition issues
6. Assisting in the development and implementation of internal controls and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
7. Participating in financial audits and providing recommendations for procedural improvements
8. Providing support for special projects and ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or equivalent qualification is preferred
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue recognition
3. Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and experience with account reconciliations
4. Big 4 Public Accounting Experience Preferred
