We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Revenue Cycle Manager to join our team in the Medical Laboratory industry. This is a key leadership role responsible for the strategic planning, execution and management of our revenue cycle operations. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing, implementing and maintaining best practices for revenue cycle operations, and will be responsible for coaching and managing a team of revenue cycle professionals. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the financial health of our organization and requires a candidate with a strong background in revenue cycle management and a passion for continuous improvement.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain best practices and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for revenue cycle operations.
  • Coach, develop, and manage a team of revenue cycle professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Identify, prioritize, manage, monitor, and measure the success of revenue cycle projects.
  • Oversee all front-end revenue cycle teams and functions with the goal to maximize successful first attempt claim submissions to payors.
  • Resolve clearinghouse denial claim edits, missing demographic or insurance eligibility information, and other issues that may prevent successful claim submission.
  • Collaborate with other department leaders to ensure seamless integration of revenue cycle operations across the organization.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize revenue cycle processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in revenue cycle management.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue cycle management, preferably in the Tech Services industry.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing effective revenue cycle strategies and SOPs.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of coaching and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize, manage, monitor, and measure the success of multiple projects simultaneously.
  • In-depth knowledge of front-end revenue cycle operations, including claim submission processes, denial management, and insurance eligibility verification.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues that may prevent successful claim submission.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work with other department leaders to integrate revenue cycle operations across the organization.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in revenue cycle management.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, with a passion for optimizing processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
