Salary is competitive and will be based on relevant experience. This position is intended to be full time (40 hours/week), but could be on a flexible schedule, if that is a better fit for the right candidate.

RFID Product Engineer

Description:

We are a small company with a unique position in the rapidly growing custom RFID Tags space. Due to our increasing strong sales figures, we are expanding our operations and are currently looking for a highly skilled Product Development Engineer/Technician to support our dynamic and growing product offering.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or physical science discipline
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office programs, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Experience with application development using Python, Ruby, C# and G-Code is strongly desired
• Independent, self-starter who is comfortable working as part of a team with little supervision

Responsibilities:

• Support the product development team to
• Participate in the design, prototyping and testing of new products (Custom RFID tags)
• Develop product specifications and validate that new products fit the requirements
• Aid in the implementation of new functionalities/processes in product design
• Support the Company operation
• Validate performance criteria and communicate relative metrics to production
• Develop test and production methodologies required to validate products performance as required
• Work with the production engineering team to design/create software and hardware solutions for manufacturing
• Support the Sales operation to
• Determine the appropriate product fit for specific applications and produce relevant test data for the sales group to present to customers
• Ensure effective customer communication
• Build first article prototypes for testing in new applications
• Other development support duties as directed.
