We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ICU RN to join our dynamic team in the medical industry. This is a permanent position that requires a night shift schedule. The ideal candidate must possess an RN license in VA, BLS, ACLS, and at least 2 years of experience in critical care.

Responsibilities:

As an RN in the ICU, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in the critical care area. You will work closely with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with complex medical conditions. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Assessing and monitoring patients' conditions and communicating changes to the physician
• Administering medications and treatments as ordered by the physician
• Providing emotional support to patients and their families
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized care plans
• Maintaining accurate and complete medical records
• Participating in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest advancements in critical care

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position must meet the following qualifications:

• RN license in VA (or compact license)
• BLS and ACLS certification
• At least 2 years of previous experience in the critical care area
• Preference is 2+ years of experience in the critical care area
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
• Willingness to work night shifts
